Dental insurances generally cover the costs of preventive and/or routine procedures. This typically includes dental exams and professional cleanings twice a year. Certain insurance plans or policies may also cover general dentistry treatments such as fillings, sealants, or extractions. There are many restorative dental procedures as well that may be covered partially or in full by your insurance plan. These treatments include dental bridges, partials, or full dentures.
When it comes to cosmetic dentistry, these procedures are typically considered non-essential and elective. This would include teeth whitening, dental bonding, veneers, and more. Due to the nature of cosmetic dental procedures, most insurance plans do not provide cost coverage. However, we do accept alternative payment options for any costs that you may incur.
